- Creep is the situation where the rule that makes an army special then quickly becomes the norm or even become defunct and useless when newer armies are released.
example
* Army A is released, It's "Thing" is that it has a few units that have the AWESOME rule. * Army B is released, It has a liberal smattering on AWESOME across the board. * Army C is released, It's entire force has AWESOME+ (which is like AWESOME but 1 better). * Army D is released, It's "Thing" is that a few weapons in the List have the "Ignore AWESOME" rule. * Army F* is released, It's entire armour has the "Ignore AWESOME" rule * Army G is released, It has AWESOME++ which overrides "Ignores AWESOME" * New edition is released, The AWESOME rule is now in the core rules and it's been toned down but there is a new rule called KICK ASS. There is no more "ignore AWESOME". * Army A is released, None of it's units are AWESOME but a few are KICK ASS * Army B is released, All units are AWESOME and a few are KICK ASS. * Army C is released, It's entire force is AWESOME and KICK ASS. * Army D is released, Has the rule "ULTIMATE NERF" which beats AWESOME and KICK ASS. * Army F* is released, all units have ULTIMATE NERF and KICK ASS * Army G is released, All units have ULTIMATE NERF, AWESOME and KICK ASS. In addition it has the new rule "WIN BUTTON" and for some reason are still cheaper per model than Army A.
* NB: Army E's release has repeatedly been put back due to the fact nobody knows what to do with them and every single model in the range needs to be remade | |
